The Network & Security department is responsible for the technical and organizational foundations for secure, stable, and globally scalable industrial systems – from the machine to the line and all the way to the cloud. As part of organizational development, network, system, and product security have been combined into a single area of responsibility.
For this central role, we are looking for an experienced leader as Head of Network & Security with the following responsibilities:
- You lead the global Network & Security division in a functional, disciplinary, and strategic capacity.
- You further develop international teams of technical specialists.
- You are responsible for network, system, and product security across all environments.
- You define and further develop global network and security architectures (IT / OT / Edge / Cloud) and enforce them.
- You are responsible for standards, target architectures, and series concepts including machine and line integration.
- You ensure operational stability, scalability, and industrial readiness throughout the entire lifecycle.
- You make technical architecture and technology decisions (e.g., make‑or‑buy, technology selection, roadmaps).
- You are responsible for the budget and costs in your department.
- You work closely with Platform Core, OT, mechanical engineering, product, and project organizations.
- You contribute to the implementation of security‑related requirements, including those according to IEC‑62443.
Your profile
- You have several years of experience in network technology and network architectures with a strong IT/OT focus.
- You have several years of leadership experience in technical teams or with highly specialized experts.
- You possess a very good understanding of industrial production and automation environments.
- You are familiar with global standards as well as scalable platform and series concepts.
- You have experience working with security requirements in industrial products, systems, and platforms.
- You are confident in managing complex, cross‑departmental and cross‑organizational topics.
- You stand out with clear decision‑making and communication skills as well as a structured, realistic, and solution‑oriented way of working.
- You have good German skills and very good English skills.
