    “Jugend forscht”: Krones as regional main sponsor

    Curiosity, a passion for tinkering, thirst for knowledge and enthusiasm for experimentation: These are qualities that define us as a technology company – and drive us forward. We are therefore delighted to promote these traits in young people as well. For this reason, we are now part of “Jugend forscht” – as the main sponsor in the Upper Palatinate region and at the state level in Bavaria.

    For many years, “Jugend forscht” has been one of the most important competitions for pupils interested in technology and the natural sciences. With this partnership, Krones aims to support young people’s STEM projects and give them practical insights into technical career fields.

    Employees and trainees get involved

    Krones will contribute not only as a sponsor, but also support the competition in terms of content. Employees and trainees will accompany selected programme items, share their expertise and be available to participants as points of contact. In the future, individual events are also planned to take place at the company’s headquarters in Neutraubling.

    “The competition offers an excellent opportunity to show young people new perspectives in the technical field,” says Björn Brendemühl, Head of Industrial Training at Krones. “At the same time, we are strengthening the promotion of young talent and the skilled labour base in the Upper Palatinate.”

    Our service

    To create transparency for customers, investors and analysts, we participate in recognised rating formats. In 2024, we received an "B" rating from CDP in the "Climate Change" category ("Water Security": B). Our EcoVadis Scorecard was awarded a Gold Medal in 2024.
